COP26 The annual ‘Conference Of Parties’ arose from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in 1992, and has run since 1995. The UK is host to the 26th meeting in Glasgow, where at least 30,000 reps of over 200 countries, businesses, NGOs and faith groups will gather for the next 12 days. COP26 is crucial: it’s probably our last chance for world leaders to commit to actions to save the Earth from climate catastrophe. Follow the prayer stations in church and COP-related daily intentions in Pews News; greenchristian.org.uk/cop-26-glasgow-2021/ has info & resources.
