Charitable Giving
Charitable giving is an important part of life at St Thomas à Becket’s. The PCC has a policy of donating approximately 5% of its unrestricted income (£4,000 approx.) to charitable causes, both at home and abroad. Each year the PCC review the amount they are proposing to give taking into account the level of unrestricted income, and to whom they are donating.
In 2019 the following was given by the PCC from Church Funds:
Christian Solidarity Worldwide £310
Family Support Work £310
Grass Roots £310
Mission to Seafarers £310 + £50 from special collection
