Sunday School  Parents are reminded that the helpers at Sunday School are more than happy to look after your children whilst you enjoy the service.  If after you have settled your children you are still worried that they might need you, let the helpers know and they will be happy to come and find you if needed.

 

Parish Day at the Cathedral – Friday 27 February 2015. Today is the last opportunity to sign the list on the notice board if you wish to attend this event.   The Cafe will be kept open especially for us so   numbers have to be given to the Cathedral tomorrow to enable them to make staffing arrangements. Please meet in Cloisters Cafe at 4.30 p.m. for a complimentary tea which will be followed by sung Evensong at 5.30 p.m.  Prayers for our Parish will be said at every Service on this day. Collect for the day: Almighty God, Whose Son Jesus Christ fasted forty days in the wilderness, and was tempted as we are, yet without sin: give us grace to discipline ourselves in obedience to your Spirit; and, as you know our weakness, so may we know your power to save; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
