Collect Almighty God, you called Luke the physician, whose praise is in the gospel, to be an evangelist and physician of the soul: by the grace of the Spirit and through the wholesome medicine of the gospel, give your Church the same love and power to heal; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Amen.

We remember Church family who live in residential care or usually receive communion at home: Catherine Morrish, Daphne Sharrad, Bett Steenerson.

We pray for God’s blessing on all who live in our parish: The Court, The Crescent, The Dunes.

We pray for all affected directly by Covid-19; for the police as they work to keep everyone safe, in sometimes very difficult and risky situations.

Sunday 1st November at 16:00: Memorial Service – Commemoration of the Faithful Departed. All are welcome to attend this quiet reflective service when we remember by name those we love but see no longer. If you would like the names of your loved ones to be read out please send Mthr Lucy an email, or hand her a clearly written note. If you would like to attend please let Trudi know, as above.

Tuesday@7: From 3rd November, the Tuesday evening Eucharist is making a comeback and will be particularly aimed at young people and families (although all are welcome!). A familiar service, shorter length, new music and particularly family friendly input. Please spread the word!

Bishop Luffa School: Mthr Lucy has been in touch with all those who have made contact about admissions for 2021, but if you still need to speak to her please do this as soon as possible.
