Beating the Bounds – Sunday 25 May after the Parish Eucharist. Do consider taking part in this fun and holy event of walking the parish boundaries with stops for lunch about 1pm at the Cox-Rusbridges’ farm, Lagness and tea about 4.30/5pm in church.

 

Ordination – of our curate, Jo King, is on Saturday 28 June 4pm at Chichester Cathedral. Please keep her, Mike, Lucy and Amy in your prayers. If anyone would like to attend Mark has a few tickets – first come, first served.

 

Parish Book Group – Our current parish book is ‘The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’, by Rachel Joyce. Sign up sheets on Book Group notice board. Discussion groups: Mon 2nd June at 8pm & Thurs 5th June at 10am.

 

Sunday Teas:  The church is once again open for teas and cake on a Sunday afternoon.  Why not come along and enjoy some good home-cooked cakes and lively conversation.  We are open from 2.00 – 4.30 pm every Sunday.

 

Ascension Day – Thursday 29th May – This is a major festival in the Church year, so all church members ought to attend worship. Therefore we are having 10am Holy Communion, 4pm Eucharist, 8pm Sung Eucharist and all followed by feast-day refreshments (e.g 4pm more child-friendly fizz and 8pm champagne). There is no Tuesday or Wednesday communion that week.

Picnic – Eartham Woods Sunday 8th June. It will be straight after the family Pentecost Eucharist. We will travel in convoy from the church car park.  The field is off the main road and there is ample parking.
