O God, who by the leading of a star manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: mercifully grant that we, who know you now by faith, may at last behold your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirirt, one God, now and for ever.

NOTICES
Christmas collections: Thank you to all those who have given so generously this year at our Christmas services. A total of £992.57 was raised, up considerably on last year. This will mean £496.29 to Stone Pillow and $496.28 to the Roof Fund. Thanks be to God.
Parish Book Group: Our current book is ‘The Warden’ by Anthony Trollope. Join a discussion group on Thursday 11th January at 10am or Monday 15th January at 8pm. See the Book Group notice board for further information and sign-up sheets.
Tea and Coffee Rota: We could do with a few more volunteers please. It is quite simple and a very helpful form of service. Speak to Jan Brockhurst or Kate Congdon if you are able to help.
Year of Prayer: Prayer Partners have been allocated. If you haven’t heard anything do please speak to Mark. There is also a prayer box at the back of church into which prayer requests for situations can be placed and will be used in Sunday intercessions.
Year of Prayer taster sessions: Each month we will practice a different kind of prayer on a Saturday morning at 9.20am. This will usually be the first Saturday, but this month it is next Saturday, the 13th.
Burns Night: Friday 19th January. Sign-up sheet and information on the notice board. Please see Stephen Cox-Rusbridge for tickets which are £15.
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity: 18th-25th January. Please see details on the notice board. All are especially invited to the AGM on Thursday 18th January, 7.30-9pm with refreshments before and after, at South Bersted Church.
Ladies Club: On Tuesday 16th January our speaker will be KAZ, a local artist. She will be bringing some of her paintings and also doing some sketches during the evening, demonstrating the stages of building up the picture. She specializes in drawing pets. ALL WELCOME.
