Chichester Cathedral Free Lunchtime Concerts: The autumn programme commences on Tuesday 15 September 1.10pm – 2pm. The programme is displayed on the church and porch noticeboards. Bring your sandwiches; coffee provided. Please feel free to come and go as you wish, there is a retiring collection.
Sinners: Sharing and laughing together through parenthood. A new group aimed at those women who are in the throes of parenting or other caring responsibilities, hoping to create opportunities for friendship and fun together. Inaugural Meeting Wednesday 16th September at 8pm at The Lamb. See Jo, Elise or Jenny for more details.
Working Party: We need lots of volunteers to help with an extra church clean on Saturday 19th September, starting at 9.00am. This will include the high and low awkward to get at areas that our small dedicated team of church cleaners are not able to do. Although we do have vacuums, brooms, dustpan and brushes it might help if you could bring your own.
Last Night of The Proms: In aid of the Pagham Flood Defence Trust Saturday 19th September at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and will be available on the door or from Ann, Mo, Trudi. Songs of the 40’s plus the usual finale led by the Glenwood Ladies Choir. For further details contact Ann Gristwood (826071).
Pilgrim: There will be new Pilgrim groups starting up in September, see the board for details. Please contact Jo if you are interested in joining a group.
2015 Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal: This year’s leaflets are now available at the back of the church. One leaflet to be used either for a family box or a box for the elderly. Boxes need to be returned to church by Sunday 15th November. If you feel that you are unable to fill a whole box perhaps you could supply some items or money toward the transport costs. Music: Chichester Voices will be performing a concert here on Thursday 8th October. Music will include a new Requiem composed by Michael Walsh. This will be followed by a series of concerts, the first of which is to be held on Saturday 17th October featuring the highly talented organist, Mark Wardell. Tickets for both these events will be available from Andrew Naylor.
