Creative Worship Evening: Considering the promises of God Sunday 12th July 5pm – 7pm. We will begin the evening with a short act of worship reflecting upon the promises of God that we find in the bible. After this we will be ‘repurposing’ or ‘upcycling’ some old bibles to create something that we can use to encourage us every day by choosing some of our favourite passages and creating something new and beautiful. No artistic skills required. For the sake of materials it would be useful if you could sign up but you can just turn up on the day.
Cynthia Brown: We are holding a Memorial Service with Holy Communion for Cynthia on Tuesday 14 July at 11.00 am and all are most welcome. Donations to MS Society, in memory of Cynthia can be given to Mo Hatzfeld.

Summer Fair: 12 noon – 3pm, 18th July – Village Hall. We are seeking donations for the various stalls. We need items for the Tombola, Bottles, Jewellery, Jigsaws, Toys, Games, Clean Paperback Books, Toiletries, Raffle Prizes, Fancy Goods and Bric-a-brac (no electrical items please – we cannot sell them) and of course nearer the day we will be seeking Cakes. Boxes for your donations will be found at the rear of the church or you can speak to me and I will arrange collection. We will need gazebos on the day – please sign on the list on the noticeboard if you have one to lend. There are still some envelopes of raffle tickets at the rear of church – can anyone help with delivering the last few please. Thank you – Trudi Kearsley 263597.

Fifth Sunday after Trinity

Collect for the day:

Almighty God, to whose glory we celebrate the dedication of this house of prayer: we praise you for the many blessings you have given to those who worship you here: and we pray that all who seek you in this place may find you, and, being filled with the Holy Spirit, may become a living temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.
