Epiphany

Collect for the day

O God, who by the leading of a star manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: mercifully grant that we, who know you now by faith, may at last behold your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Amen.

NOTICES

Friends of Pagham Parish Church Christmas quiz: win a bumper hamper in the draw today!

Christmas thanks: thank you to all who have made the church look beautiful for this special season, and given so generously at our services.

Ladies’ Club: on Tuesday 7th at 7.45 pm, at the Church Centre in Nyetimber Lane, a member of the team at Church Farm Holiday Park will be telling us what happens on the site (which is next door to the church) throughout the year. All welcome.

Burns night, a ticket-only event hosted by the Men’s Group, is on Friday 17th at 7 pm at the Church Centre, Nyetimber Lane, with piper, and special guest Archdeacon Luke. Dress code: tartan or tweed. Add names to the list on the church noticeboard, or via Stephen (07974 177905).

Church roof: no work has taken place over Christmas and new year. The work on the nave is expected to finish this week, and the scaffolding will be adjusted for work to begin on the side aisles and porch. The challenging weather conditions have now pushed the anticipated completion date to the end of March. Thank you for continued donations to help us reach our funding target.

Bognor Regis Foodbank: our local Foodbank is very grateful for all donations. Please continue to give generously, placing items in the crate by the church door. Thank you.
