Almighty and everlasting God, increase in us your gift of faith that, forsaking what lies behind and reaching out to that which is before, we may run the way of your commandments and win the crown of everlasting joy; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

PCC Away Day: This year is on Saturday 17th October at the Bishop’s Palace. As we are discerning our implementation of the Diocesan Strategy for next year any church members are welcome to attend. Please sign the list on the board to indicate you are coming.

Youth Songs of Praise: Sunday 18th October 2015 at 3.30pm – our theme this time is “The Heavens Above”. The event will involve Junior Choir and other young performers – if your child would like to be involved and you haven’t already spoken to Elise Eminson or Ann Gristwood please do so.

 

Quiz Night: ‘Friends of Pagham Parish Church’ are organising a Quiz Night on Saturday 24th October 2015 at the Church Centre, starting at 6.30 pm. Congratulations: To Graham Minnett who has managed to secure a two-book deal with Bonnier Publishing in London. The first novel, The Hidden Legacy, is to be published as an eBook on 5th November 2015.

 

Parish Book Group: Our current book is “Call the Midwife” by Jennifer Worth. See the Book Group notice board for further information and sign-up sheets. Join a discussion group on Tuesday 10th November at 8pm or Thursday 12th November at 10am.

 

Christmas Market and Craft Fair: This year we are combining the autumn Craft Fair with the Christmas Fair and holding a Christmas Market. This will be held at the Village Hall on Saturday 21st November from 11am to 2 pm. We are meeting at 8.00pm on Monday 5th October at 8 Tennyson Road, Bognor Regis (Jo King’s house), to plan this event. We are looking for new ideas to attract people in and make it a success. Please come and join us and share your ideas.
