On the afternoon of Sunday 29th June, many of our Sunday School members took part in a Youth Songs of Praise. The music, readings and prayers all reflected the theme of God’s creation and the natural world. Recorder player Daisy Donoghue, and her cousin Elise Donoghue, played lead roles in shaping and leading the service, while a number of other children wrote prayers and read poetry and scripture. Nearly 60 people attended this uplifting occasion, and gathered for refreshments afterwards. Congratulations to all the young people involved. And watch this space – plans are already afoot for our next youth-led service!
