We pray for all in need and especially those in need of healing in mind, body or spirit: Anthea Potter, Sue Smith, David Atkins, Elizabeth Dove, Judi March, Richard, Kevin, Sue Downey, Ruby.

We remember in our prayers: church members who live in residential care or receive communion at home. This week we pray for: John and Velda Scully, Daphne Sharrad, Edna Swinnerton-Beet, Barbara Waldron, Daphne Woolnough, Maureen Yates.

 

We pray for God’s blessing upon all who live in Wolsey Close and Wythering Close.

 

We pray for Children’s Society whose work we support financially as a parish.

Christmas thanks: Thank you to many of you who have helped prepare and beautify the church for Christmas and assist in welcome and the smooth running of services. Thanks be to God!

 

Christmas Collections: Our offerings from Crib and Midnight services are to be split evenly between Raise the Roof and Save the Children in Syria.

 

Thanks: Mark and Jo and families thank warmly all those who have kindly sent them cards or given them gifts.

 

Rev Pauline Lucas: Pauline wanted to share her exciting news. From March 2017 she will be Priest-in-Charge of the parish of Kirdford with Plaistow in the Petworth Deanery. This is a rural parish with two churches, spread over a large area. She will also have a role across the deanery as part of the Petworth Cross Over Group mission team.
