Christmas Fair: 10am–1.00pm on Sat 16th Nov. Help is urgently needed with this fund-raising event. We will be collecting donated items for the stalls in the box at the back of church, or contact Trudi (263597). We are looking for goods for the hamper, items for the raffle & tombola, Christmas goods, unwanted gifts, fancy goods, jewellery, good quality toys, books, jigsaws etc. Lists are on the notice board for volunteers for the stalls.
Chinese Meal (home cooked) in aid of the Friends of St Thomas A’Becket Church. Sat 2nd Nov, 7.30pm at ParishChurch Centre, Nyetimber Lane. Variety of Chinese dishes and dessert for £10. The Craft Fair was successful and we would like to thank all those who helped out, with special thanks to Bruce, Roger and Rich, Mo, Glenda and Jean, and Barbara Crewe and her Ladies Meetings’ team. Carole Druce will now run such events. A big thank you to Diane for all she has done over the past 9 years. Next year’s Craft and Gift Fairs will be on May 26th and Sat 8th.

Annual Memorial Service – Service on Sunday 17th November, 4pm, for families who have been bereaved in the past year or so. Any others are most welcome to attend. Whether you can or cannot come, do add names of loved-ones for whom you would like us to pray on the sheet at the back of church.

Parish Pastoral Care Course: There will be a course next January to equip a team of ‘parish visitors’. Start thinking and praying about whether this might be where God is calling you and if interested, see Mark. Examples of visiting would be the bereaved, baptism families, the sick and housebound.
Walsingham 2014 – The parish visit to Walsingham has been booked from 9th to 13th June. Should you be interested in joining our pilgrimage, please add you name to the list which is on the white notice board in the South Aisle. Please speak to Roland if you would like more information about Walsingham.
Chichester Cathedral. Our parish will be prayed for at Chichester Cathedral on Thursday 14th November 2013. Details available on notice board – sign the list by Sunday November 3rd if you wish to attend. We have been invited for tea at 4.30pm in Cloisters Café followed at 5.30pm by Sung Evensong.
