We pray for peace especially for and with the people of Ukraine. We pray for all those caught up in conflict, and for those seeking safety and refuge on these shores.

NOTICES

Admission to Holy Communion Mthr Lucy is running a course for children in Year 6 and above who wish to be admitted to Holy Communion. Sessions will continue on Saturday mornings, 10:00-10:45 at Pagham church, on 24th September and 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd October. The children are admitted to Holy Communion on All Saints’ Sunday on 30th October at the 09:30 service. Please contact Mthr Lucy for more details and to sign up. Parents are needed to help with these sessions, so if you can, please do sign up to help.

Confirmation. On Tuesday 15th November we will be hosting Confirmation with Bishop Ruth. If you are in school Year 9 and above (including adults) and would like to know more about Confirmation, please speak to Mthr Lucy. There will be an adult confirmation course running on Thursday mornings at 11:00 in church, and will continue on Thursdays 22nd & 29th September, 20th & 27th October (NB change of Oct dates), and 3rd & 10th November. AND Monday evenings from the 10th October at 19:30, location TBC, and will continue on Mondays 17th,24th October and 7th & 14th November. Sessions Details of a youth Confirmation class are to follow – but please let Mthr Lucy know if you are interested.

Harvest Festival flowers We will be decorating the church in readiness for Harvest Festival on Saturday 1st October from 09:00. Donations of produce and greenery would be welcome. 2022 Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal Leaflets are now available at the back of the church. Please bring boxes to church by Sunday 6th November. Pick up a leaflet and fill a box – or if you feel that you cannot fill a whole box, perhaps you could supply some items or money towards the transport costs. Every little helps.
