On 19th June 2014, Pauline Lucas, former ordinand of this parish, was ordained priest at St Anne’s Church, Lewes. The president and preacher was the Rt Revd Richard Jackson, the new Bishop of Lewes. Many friends from Pagham travelled to support her at this joyful event. A group also attended worship at St Leonard’s Seaford on Sunday 22nd, celebrating with Pauline as she presided at her first eucharist. We pray for Pauline, her husband Stephen, and the people of Sutton with Seaford, where she continues to serve her curacy.
