Sunday School

Sunday School meets each Sunday during the 9.45 Parish Eucharist.  There are 2 groups – the younger group (Year 4 and below) and the older group (Year 5 and above – aka “SAINTS”).  Several times a year the children join the adult congregation for a Family (all age) Eucharist.

There are many Sunday School events during the year. Recent activities have included: an Epiphany play, a Children’s Way of the Cross on Good Friday, an Ascension Day balloon release, a summer picnic, a Families’ Barbecue in the vicarage garden and a Christmas Party.

Wednesday Club

Our carers and tots group meets at the Church Centre each Wednesday from 1.30-2.45 during term time. Toddlers have the chance to play or do a craft activity while carers have a chat over tea or coffee. Refreshments are also provided for the children. Our session ends with a prayer and some songs. Suggested donation £1.50.

Junior Choir

Junior Choir is open to all school age children. The choir joins with the adult choir during family services, sometimes performs during regular services, and leads the singing at youth services. Rehearsals are held approximately every fortnight, straight after the 9.45 service, and last for around half an hour. Contact Ann Gristwood (01243 826071) to find out more.
