Intention: Pray for all imprisoned in any way; and for the prisoners, staff, chaplains and visitors at HMP Ford.

 

Saturday 5th November

Intention: Pray for our children and young people, and their leaders; for our Children’s Groups, Wednesday Club and Youth Group.

Ladies Club: An illustrated talk on Victorian Bognor by Chris Burstow on Tuesday 1st November at 7.45pm at the Church Centre – all welcome.

 

Annual Memorial Service is on Sunday 6th November at 3.30pm followed by refreshments. All are welcome to attend to remember loved-ones who have died. If you wish for someone’s name to be read out please add it to the list at the back of church.

 

Food Bank: Don’t forget to keep bringing in food for those in need.

 

2016 Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal: This year’s leaflets are available at the back of church – boxes for family of elderly. Filled boxes need to be returned to church by Sunday 6th November. If you feel that you are unable to fill a whole box, but would like to help, perhaps you could supply some of the items or money towards the transport costs. All Souls’ Day: St Richard Singers will perform Fauré’s Requiem at the All Souls’ Day Service on Wednesday 2nd November at 7.30pm at St George’s, Cleveland Road, Chichester.

 

Bishop Luffa applications for September 2017 – any parent who wishes to apply for their child to attend Bishop Luffa School next year needs to make an appointment with Mark please.

Parish Pilgrimage 2017: Parish Pilgrimage 2017 to Launde Abbey is going to be Tuesday 30th May – Friday 2nd June. Cost per adult is £200 or more. A provisional booking has been made, so do please speak to Mark ASAP if you would like to be added to the list.

 

Christmas Market and Craft Fair: This event is being held at the Village Hall on 26th November. Donations needed for stalls include: Raffle prizes, Chocolate, filled jam jars, Tombola items, unwanted gifts, puzzles, books, jewellery, knitted goods, toys, Empty wine bottles, bottle bags, Christmas decorations and items etc. Please leave in the boxes at back of church. Volunteer sign-up sheet on the noticeboard.
