O God, the strength of all those who put their trust in you, mercifully accept our prayers and, because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without you, grant us the help of your grace, that in the keeping of your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Intention: Pray for all imprisoned in any way; and for the prisoners, staff, chaplains and visitors at HMP Ford.

Tea and cakes: We would like to investigate the possibility of offering Tea and Cakes between 2-4 pm on Sunday afternoons during July, August and September. If you are prepared to give three hours (to include set up and clear away time) on the occasional Sunday afternoon or by baking the occasional cake please add your name to the list on the board.

Festival of Flowers: Chichester Cathedral 2nd – 4th June. Following on from last year’s flower festival in this church, we were invited to take part in this year’s event at the Cathedral. Please go along and support the team effort of Janet Turner, Sue Smith, Carole Druce, Gilly Naylor, Trudi Kearsley, Elaine Cliford, David Smith and Roger Turner.
New monthly prayer Meeting: First Saturday of each month at 9.20am to pray for the life and work the church. See Mark or Jo for more details. All welcome, just turn up. First meeting Saturday 4th June 9.20am -10.00am.
Ladies Club: Invite you to a Social Evening at Pagham Yacht Club on Tuesday 7th June at 7.00pm. In addition to refreshments the programme includes a Quiz, Bring and Buy Sale, Raffle and Darts. All are welcome.
Open Gardens: 1.30pm – 5.00pm on Sunday 12th June. Tickets £5.00 available in advance from Mo Hatzfeld with the brochure and map available on the day from The Church Centre.. Come and enjoy a variety of gardens around the village.
Chichester Voices Concert: ‘The Way of Love’ is being held at church on Thursday 30th June at 7.30 pm in aid of St Wilfred’s Hospice. Tickets £12 with
