Urgent AppealWinter clothing for Iraq – if you have spare winter clothes and shoes, bedding, children’s clothing they can dropped off at Aldwick Baptist Church tomorrow morning.

 

Parkinson UK Charity – I am collecting old keys for the Parkinson UK charity. If you have any I would be grateful to receive them. Just pop them into the box at the back of the church. (Mo Hatzfeld)

Churches Together – Lent Groups – Please see the noticeboard for details and to sign up. You need to sign the sheet by Sunday 1 February.

 

Freewill Giving Envelopes – for the year commencing 1 February 2015 can now be collected from the pigeonholes in Church.

 

Palm Crosses – Please begin returning last year’s palm crosses in time for burning for Ash Wednesday (no later than Sunday 15 February).

 

Parish Book Group – Our current book is ‘A Morbid Taste For Bones’ by Ellis Peters. See the Book Group notice board for futher information and sign-up sheets. Discussion groups: Wednesday 25th Feb at 8pm & Thursday 26th Feb at 10am.

 

Parish Day at Chichester Cathedral : Friday 27 February 2015.

Our Parish will be prayed for on 27 February at the 8 a.m. Holy Communion Service and at 5.30 p.m. Evensong.   We have been invited to attend either or both of these Services and we have also been invited to a complimentary tea at 4.30 p.m. in the Cloisters Cafe.  A tour of the Cathedral before tea can be arranged but we must have a minimum of 6 people.   As we have to advise the Cathedral of likely numbers please sign the list on the noticeboard by SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY 2015.    Any query please contact June Baker our Parish/Cathedral Link on 262344.
