Almighty God, you have created the heavens and the earth and made us in your own image: teach us to discern your hand in all your works and your likeness in all your children; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit reigns supreme over all things, now and for ever.

Ray Radmall – we were sorry to hear of the death of our Parish Council Chairman last week. He has left a great legacy for those who will continue his work for Pagham. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Confirmation preparation: if anyone is interested in exploring confirmation, initial sessions are starting this week – do speak to Mark.

Formation of new Electoral Roll: this six-yearly process has come round, so everyone who wishes to join the new Church electoral roll must fill out a form. Please place in the box at the back of church.

Churches Together in Bognor Regis and District: AGM is on Thursday 28th at St Mary’s, South Bersted, 7 for 7.30 pm, with refreshments. The evening will include worship and prayer, and reports from different local organisations, and on progress in our work amongst youth and the homeless. Do come to support our joint work!

World Day of Prayer Service (formerly Women’s WDP): Friday 1 March, 10:30 am at Aldwick Baptist Church, 43 Gossamer Road, followed by refreshments. This year’s service has been written by Christian women in Slovenia. All welcome!

Shrove Tuesday: Pancake Party at the vicarage, 5 March, 4.30-7 pm; £1 adults, 50p children. All are welcome to feast before the fast! Bring last year’s Palm Crosses for burning, to prepare for Ash Wednesday.

Ladies’ Club: AGM with light refreshments on Tuesday 5 March at 7.45 pm, in the Church Centre, Nyetimber Lane. All welcome.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP): free 3-session training course on Wednesdays, 6, 13 and 20 March, 11 am-1 pm, at the Vineyard Church, 5a Waterloo Square, Bognor Regis, PO21 1TE. More information from Peter Sutton, 07813 024585.

First Aid: see the list on the noticeboard of First-Aiders who have attended a recent one-day course. There are also others qualified and willing to come forward, if needed. The Church Wardens and Alex Brockhurst have practised different scenarios in case someone is taken ill during a Church Service, and will take the lead in such circumstances.
