Church bells Thanks to the wonderful work of Nicholson’s, and their able assistants from the parish, the bells were back in action last Sunday. We are still raising money for this project: if you would like to make a donation to this fund, or to dedicate ringing in memory or celebration of a loved one, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Mike Wake can provide you with information on dedicated ringing. Thank you to those who have contributed so far – we are not far off reaching the final total, even with the additional works!

Advent Mthr Lucy invites you to read the classic ‘The coming of God’ by Maria Boulding this Advent.  ‘Rich with an Advent theme, this work explores the different ways in which God comes to us. Its central message is that God comes to the needy and empty. Whether our poverty is material or spiritual, the book aims to bring hope and promise.’ There will be an opportunity to reflect on this reading with tea and conversation on Thursday 16th December at 16:00, with an evening meeting possible, if there is interest in this. Venue TBC.

A 3-day Money Course is being run by CAP (Christians Against Poverty) on 2nd, 9th & 16th December, 11:00–13:00, at The Shore Community Church, 73 Victoria Drive, Bognor Regis, PO21 2TD. The course is free, and open to anyone who wants to improve money management, and those struggling to make ends meet. More information from petersutton@capmoneycourse.org.
