Tea & Chat in the Pagham Parish Church Centre, Nyetimber Lane on Wednesday 1st September 15:00–16:30. During the tightest level of lockdown, many of us were able to gather online to chat, study and pray together. Now that restrictions have eased, ‘Tea & Chat’ is offered so that we have an opportunity to catch up face-to-face, and to develop the friendships formed or rekindled on Zoom. This invitation is extended to everyone in the parish, and to our neighbours in Aldwick who we shared such good conversation with.

Parish Family Eucharist on 5th September We look forward to welcoming Bishop Ruth of Horsham, when she will preach and preside at the Parish Family Eucharist. This will be her first visit since her arrival in the diocese – it will be a great joy to have her with us for this service.

Madge Breakspear RIP: Madge’s funeral will take place in church on Friday 24th September at 12:00. All are welcome to attend; family flowers only. The service will be followed by a reception at The Lamb. If you hope to attend this please let Mthr Lucy know, to help the family with catering.

Scratch Choir The scratch choir continues to add a very welcome element to our worship on Sunday mornings. This is a very informal set-up for all who would like to sing during our service. There is a brief rehearsal each week from 09:00 for that morning’s hymns. If you enjoy singing and would like to take part, do contact Alison Blenkinsop (see below) for hymn details, or just turn up at 09:00 on Sunday morning. Please note that while there is now no restriction on numbers, if space is limited priority will be given to children on the first Sunday of the month.

Tuesday@7 After much delay, I am pleased to announce that the Tuesday evening communion service will be returning on 7th September at 19:00. This is a service that I hope will be particularly attractive to families, and is offered for those who find Sunday morning services a little difficult to get to. Length 30-40mins. Everyone is very welcome.

Admission to Holy Communion before Confirmation Thank you to those who have registered their interest in this. A short course of preparation will run in the autumn – details to be shared in due course. If you have a child/children in school year 6 or above who are interested in this, please do contact Mthr Lucy.

Christmas FairSaturday 13th November 2021 We really hope to be able to hold a Christmas fair this year, and although it feels far too soon to start talking about Christmas, this event takes much planning and preparation. At this stage we are currently asking for volunteers to join the organising team. If this is something that appeals to you, please do speak to Trudi (contact above).
