Snowdrop Trust: We welcome this morning Di Levantine of Sussex Snowdrop Trust and are pleased to present her with a cheque for £1500 from our Flower Festival.

TODAY – Creative Worship Evening: Considering the promises of God Sunday We will begin the evening with a short act of worship reflecting upon the promises of God that we find in the bible. After this we will be ‘repurposing’ or ‘upcycling’ some old bibles to create something that we can use to encourage us every day by choosing some of our favourite passages and creating something new and beautiful. No artistic skills required. For the sake of materials it would be useful if you could sign up but you can just turn up.

Sixth Sunday after Trinity

Collect for the day:

Merciful God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as pass our understanding: pour into our hearts such love toward you that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.

Response to Psalm 85: Show us our mercy, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.
