Beating the Bounds – Sunday 25 May after the Parish Eucharist. Do consider taking part in this fun and holy event of walking the parish boundaries with stops for lunch and tea.

Sunday Teas:  The church is once again open for teas and cake on a Sunday afternoon.  Why not come along and enjoy some good home-cooked cakes and lively conversation.  We are open from 2.00 – 4.30 pm every Sunday.

Ascension Day – Thursday 29th May – This is a major festival in the Church year, so all church members ought to attend worship. Therefore we are having 10am Holy Communion, 4pm Eucharist, 8pm Sung Eucharist and all followed by feast-day refreshments (e.g 4pm more child-friendly fizz and 8pm champagne). There is no Tuesday or Wednesday communion that week.

Parish Book Group – Our current parish book is ‘The Unlikely Pilgimage of Harold Fry’, by Rachel Joyce. Sign up sheets on Book Group notice board. Discussion groups: Mon 2nd June at 8pm & Thurs 5th June at 10am.

Men’s Group – Friday 6th June 8pm at the Royal British Legion

Christian Aid Week begins this Sunday 11, this year we will be handing out envelopes on Sunday 11th May and would appreciate your returning the envelopes next Sunday 18th May with any contribution you are able to make.Please also come and support our fundraising efforts for Christian Aid at the Craft & Gift Fair at Pagham Village Hall on Monday 26th May where we will be selling PUPCAKES – Treats for Doggies!  Many thanks, Sue

Craft & Gift Fair, Pagham Village Halls, Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May 10-4pm

Our “new look” craft fair will span the whole day, and refreshments will be available, from breakfast rolls, to ploughman’s to cream teas. Events for children include a table top sale, and a cake bake-off competition. See flyers and entrance forms at back of church. Why not take a poster to display in your home area? Cottage Pies – Thank you for your wonderful response to the cottage pie appeal.I took 45 pies to St Joseph’s Hostel, which included some from members of the community who read about our cooking in Good News. Praise The Lord. Angela Halfacree

Art Exhibition:  A great deal of hard work, by a very small team of people, goes into ensuring that this event runs smoothly.  Grateful thanks to ALL who contributed to making this such a successful event.  The exhibition attracts large numbers of visitors from the parish and beyond, with the added bonus of raising funds for the church – this year just short of £1200.  Thank you all.
