Twentieth Sunday after Trinity
Collect for the day: God, the giver of life, whose Holy Spirit wells up within your Church: by the Spirit’s gifts equip us to live the gospel of Christ and make us eager to do your will, that we may share with the whole creation the joys of eternal life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Bishop Luffa applications for September 2017 – any parent who wishes to apply for their child to attend Bishop Luffa School next year needs to make an appointment with Mark please.
Parish Pilgrimage 2017: We are proposing to go to Launde Abbey in Leicestershire for a few nights at the end of May next year. Do sign up on the sheet on the noticeboard if you might be interested. It should be a blessed time of prayer, worship, food and drink, friendship and days out.
Pie and Mash Evening: Hosted by the Friends of Pagham Church, 7.30pm at the Church Centre, Nyetimber Lane, on Saturday, 22nd October. Tickets: £12 and £6 for Adults and Children, £10 and £5 for Friends and Children of Friends from Trudi or Richard. Please join us for another great social evening, all proceeds to the Raise the Roof Appeal
2016 Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal: This year’s leaflets are available at the back of church – boxes for family of elderly. Filled boxes need to be returned to church by Sunday 6th November. If you feel that you are unable to fill a whole box, but would like to help, perhaps you could supply some of the items or money towards the transport costs. Parish Book Group: Our current book is ’The Kite Runner’ by Khaled Hosseini. Join a discussion group on Monday 14th November at 8pm, or Thursday 17th November at 10am. See the Book Group notice board for further information and sign-up sheets.
