NOTICES

Parish Pilgrimage to Launde Abbey 2018: we will be going again to Launde from 29th May -1st June next year. It was such a success and places may be limited, so do sign up on the sheet ASAP if you wish to go.

Church High Clean: It’s that time of year again. On Saturday 23rd September starting at 9.00am we are having our annual deep clean of all the ledges, crevices and corners that our regular weekly church cleaners are not able to do. Although we have a selection of vacuums, dusters and brushes it might be helpful you could bring your own particularly those with long handles.

Twelfth Sunday after Trinity

Collect for the day:

Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray and to give more than either we desire or deserve: pour down upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid and giving us those good things which we are not worthy to ask but through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Amen

Psalm response: Sing to the Lord, sing praises to him.
