Friends of Pagham Church AGM will take place this Sunday in St Andrew’s Chapel, immediately after the 9:30 Family Eucharist. All are welcome. Please consider joining the committee: there is sign-up sheet on the notice board.

‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ Growing the Household of Faith pilot programme There is a display sharing more information about GiTF in the church. This will be updated at regular intervals.

Women of Holy Week by Paula Gooder All are welcome to join us for quiet reading/meditation on this text during Holy Week, here and at St Richard’s; details on separate flyer.

Good Friday Walk of Witness in Bognor Regis this year is co-ordinated by the RC, Salvation Army and Methodist Churches. The walk begins with prayer at 10 am at Our Lady of Sorrows, Clarence Road, proceeds through the town centre with ‘Reflections at the cross’ and music, and ends at the Methodist Church for final worship (outside, weather permitting) and refreshments.

Good Friday Children’s Workshop This year we will be holding a children’s fun activity morning on Good Friday 10:30–12:00; this event will be held at and shared with St Richard’s, Aldwick. I hope this will be an exciting invitation to offer to all local families. A small team of volunteers are coming together – but if you would like to join us, please speak to Mthr Lucy.

Easter flowers For the past two years we have not been able to celebrate Easter in church because of the pandemic. This year we are hoping to fill the church with flowers to celebrate Easter. If you would like to sponsor an arrangement, or contribute to the costs of the flowers, please contact Trudi Kearsley (263597/07703 597353, trudikearsley@hotmail.co.uk). We will be decorating the church on Easter Eve, Saturday 16th April, time TBC.

St Ninian’s URC Guild are holding their anniversary service on Monday 4th April at 14:30. The invitation extends to local Churches. All are welcome to the service and refreshments afterwards.

Tea & Chat will not take place this month, as the second Wednesday falls in Holy Week. Instead, you are invited to the Teapot Café at St Ninian’s URC hall, Pagham Road, which is open on the first Tuesday of each month: Tuesday 5th April, 10–12 noon. All welcome.

Men’s Breakfast is at Pagham Beach café again on Wednesday 6th April at 09:30. Cost is between £5.00 and £10.00. More information from Alex Brockhurst on 07792 544259.

Churchyard maintenance: urgent call for volunteers! The Payback Community Team who normally cut the grass are unable to help us at the moment. So to keep on top of the churchyard maintenance, we need the help of volunteers. We will have sessions this Monday, Tuesday and Saturday from 9:00 until about midday. If you are able to help, do please come along. Thank you!
