NOTICES

Face coverings You are encouraged to continue wearing face coverings when in church, to help us offer a safer and welcoming space for those who feel particularly vulnerable to Covid-19.

Men’s Breakfast Hungry men are welcome at Pagham Beach café on Wednesday 4th at 09:30. Cost is £5.00–£10.00. Any queries please contact Alex Brockhurst on 07792 544259.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting The APCM (the AGM of the Church, if you like) takes place on Wednesday 25th May; formal notice will be given in due course. However, at this meeting, when we elect churchwardens and Parish Church Council members, we will have 5 vacancies on the PCC. If you are interested in knowing more about this important ministry in the Church, or wish to express interest in standing for election, please speak with Mthr Lucy. A PCC that functions well for the whole Church has representatives from all areas of the life of the Church, and we would love to welcome members from all of our congregations to the PCC to introduce new voices to our council.

Electoral Roll In preparation for the APCM we are currently revising the Electoral Roll. An up-to-date Roll that includes all new members of the Church helps us to see how we have grown (or otherwise) in the course of the year. Also, the number of members on the list is used by Chichester Diocese in various ways. If you would like to join the Roll, please speak with Mthr Lucy or contact our Electoral Roll officer Margaret Sherwood: margaret.sherwood@outlook.com. Forms are available at the back of the church. Please note that this isn’t a full revision, so if you filled in a form a couple of years ago, you will be on the Roll. Do ask if you’re not sure!

SAVE THE DATES!

Beating the Bounds Lite, Saturday 28th May We will be holding a Parish Walk Day with two short walks (~ an hour long), and a picnic lunch where the two routes meet. More details to follow, but please do put this date in your diary, and join us for all/some/only lunch. It will be great to have the opportunity for many of our congregations to meet together.

HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee BBQ, Saturday 4th June To celebrate the Jubilee, we will have a BBQ at the church from 17:00. A sign-up list is available at the back of church to show interest in coming, and to offer various salad items. Bring your own drinks, plates and cutlery; BBQ items will be provided. Suggested minimum donation for the evening is £10 adults/£5 children.

Chichester Cathedral Free Tuesday lunchtime concerts have resumed, 13:10–14:00. The programme can be found on the Cathedral website, and the notice board at the back of church.

Summer Fair and Craft Fair 2022 This is booked for Saturday 16th July, and planning is well in hand. We have, in the past, had a Dog Show as part of the Fair and would like to do it this year, but need a volunteer to organise, co-ordinate and help run it alongside the Dog Club. If you can help with this, or have any suggestions for the Fair, please contact Trudi on 263597.
