Collect for Epiphany (4th January)

Almighty God, in the birth of your Son you have pored on us the new light of your incarnate world, and shown us the fullness of your love: help us to walk in his light and dwell in his love that we may know the fullness of his joy; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Response to Psalm 72: Kings bow down before him; all the nations do him service

Churches Together in Bognor Regis – there are copies of an important letter from the Chairman. Do take one, pray and respond regarding the future of this group especially if one of you might be able to help coordinate the ecumenical Lent Groups

Christmas Communions – if you or someone you know is unable to get to church over Christmas please let Mark know and communion will be arranged for them at home.

Can you Help – The Church Wardens and HSE rep., Alex, are trying to identify members of the congregation who hold current (in date) First Aid certificates and who are prepared to help, if required, should a member of the congregation becoming unwell during a service. We would like to put together a list of named First Aiders for all church services so the Church Wardens can call on their skilled services when necessary. If you are interested in helping please give your name to one of the Church Wardens.

Dates for 2015 – do please take a leaflet with next year’s key dates and write them into your diaries/calendars/phones/hearts, etc

Jo and Mark thank you for your Christmas cards, gifts and good wishes and indeed your support and prayer throughout the year.

Christmas Collections: all money given on Christmas Eve and Day will be split equally between the ongoing Diocesan Ebola Appeal and Stonepillow, the local charity for the homeless.
