On the SAINTS residential 2017 we had a LOT of fun. This year we went to Petersfield where we stayed in an old school. When we got there we settled into our rooms then got into our groups and chose our group leaders. After lunch we went to the activity centre, it was a really hot day. The activities were archery, zip-wire and a ropes course. The ropes course was like one you’ve never been on! Most of us got nervous before going on the zip-wire because it took the wind out of all of us. Back at the old school the kitchen team prepared dinner whilst a few of us collected wood for the bonfire. After dinner we had a big bonfire with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate. Before bed we played a few rounds of Spotlight Hit which was really fun. In our rooms we faffed around a bit getting ready for bed but finally we were all asleep. In the morning the breakfast team woke up early to make breakfast. In the late morning we played a few games before coming back to church. None of us can wait to go on the SAINTS residential again next year!
