On Sunday 6th September, after several days of dismal weather, the sun shone for our end-of-summer Sunday School barbecue. This year we shared a delicious lunch on Jenny E’s family land in Eartham. This was the perfect spot – endless possibilities for adventure in the woods and plenty of scope for swinging, lounging and playing rounders. With the children now returning to school after the long break, as the day drew to a close there was wistfulness in the air. Let’s hope we can all take memories of our relaxing day at Eartham into the busy new term.
