On a fine afternoon on 20 May, some fifteen to twenty local Brownies and Rainbows (with siblings and parents) made a splendid coin trail around St Thomas à Becket Church. One might have thought “those little coins aren’t going to make it round the whole building,” but like in the Parable of the Talents, the girls’ generosity had multiplied abundantly and the church was encircled twice! Thank you so much, Rainbows and Brownies, for raising over £100 for the Roof Fund. It was also lovely to see you all enjoying the beauty and interest of the churchyard and your talents for hide and seek and tag!
